Rising

Beginning To Look Ahead
When you’re ready for something more

Beginning to look ahead

Rising is the second level of the Soar Beyond Grief Model™.

This stage is for widows and widowers who are grieving and beginning to feel a quiet pull toward something more than just getting through the day.

Life may still feel hard and uncertain, but you’re beginning to wonder what else might be possible for you.

You might be in Rising if…

    • You’re tired of feeling stuck, even if you can’t explain why
    • You don’t want life to stay this way forever
    • You’re beginning to look ahead, even if it feels uncomfortable
    • You’re asking new questions about who you are now
    • You’re curious about what your life could become
    • You want support as you take steps forward, without pressure to have it all figured out

If this sounds like you, Rising may be where you are right now.

What Rising Is About

Rising is about finding hope and possibility again.

This is where:

    • you begin thinking about life again, not just getting through the day
    • you start taking steps forward in ways that feel doable
    • you explore who you are now, after loss
    • you begin imagining what could come next

Grief is still part of your experience here, but it’s no longer the only thing in the room.

This stage isn’t about forcing change.

It’s about allowing forward movement to begin.

How I support you in Rising

Support in Rising is about gentle movement forward, with care.

Together, we focus on:

    • finding hope and possibility again
    • reconnecting with who you are now and what matters to you
    • noticing what feels heavy and what helps you feel better
    • building your confidence to make decisions and take steps
    • taking gentle steps forward that feel right for you
    • beginning to create a life that feels meaningful and true to you

This is a stage of exploration, not expectation.

As your life continues to expand

The Soar Beyond Grief Model™ is designed as a path you move through over time.

Each level has its own focus and support. As people complete a level, they often feel ready to step into the next level and continue building their life from there.

The work is designed to move forward with you, not keep you stuck in one place.

Even in Soaring, support doesn’t stop.
As your life, desires, and sense of direction continue to evolve, there are ways to stay supported and guided through what comes next.

This work is here to walk with you as your life continues to unfold and grow.

Wherever you are, you don’t have to navigate this alone

You’re invited to start with the level that fits where you are right now.

And if you’re unsure which level that is, that’s okay too. I’d love to talk with you and help you understand where you are on your journey and what kind of support would feel most helpful right now.
